Welcome
My name is Ed Komarek and welcome to my portal website where you can read my books for free. Having written and published three books I decided I needed a entry website in which to link each individual book website and some other activities I am involved in. My books are free to read on their respective websites by simply clicking on the titles, or they can be purchased on Amazon in print and on Kindle. You can read on your computer or through your cell phone from my websites. I have very much appreciated building on the good works of others and now in return toward the end of this life, I have pulled together information on subjects of which I am knowledgeable. For more information on each individual book, to read the book for free, or to order a print or Kindle copy, just click on the book title or on the cover picture to go to the books website.
The free book Fire In Nature, A Fire Activists Guide sums up what I have learned growing up in a family of early ecologists and their associates in South Georgia and North Florida. I grew up on 565 acre Birdsong plantation adjoining Herb Stoddard's Sherwood Plantation. Herb was one of the fathers of ecology and a good friend Aldo Leopold. He mentored my father and my uncle and introduced them to fire ecology. My father Ed Komarek Sr. and my uncle Roy Komarek became the first truly full time fire ecologists, who went on to organize and build Tall Timbers Research Station to research and promote the beneficial effects of fire in nature's ecosystems.

At the age of 17 I traveled to Fairbanks Alaska to go to college where I majored in wildlife management, following in my parents footsteps. After three years of college I had my fill of academia and quit to find my own way in the world. I entered into an existential crisis that lasted into my early twenties emerging as an existentialist. I developed a interest in the paranormal specializing in extraterrestrial contact over the next 45 years. My free book UFOs Exopolitics and the New World Disorder sums up what I learned of study and investigation of UFO/ET. The concept of a Extraterrestrial Culture Center evolved in my mind soon after writing the book. You can find a series of recent articles here to copy and publish freely. Articles for Publication I also have created a special whistle-blower page titled UFO SHOOTDOWN . If you are interested in Operation Right To Know go to the ORTK File.

My free book Enlightenment: The Long Hard Road covers my knowledge gained over my lifetime as to the nature of our lives and existence. All life on earth and elsewhere no matter how small and insignificant is gathering, processing and storing information upon which to make decisions. Sometimes these decisions are good decisions and life grows and prospers and sometimes we make poor decisions and we suffer and even die from these mistakes. So in a sense all life, humanity and even extraterrestrials included, are in the process of evolving toward enlightenment, recognized or not.

I am not very good at marketing my books, so I depend a lot on the altruism of others who have benefited from these books to share the links to these books. Because of the help of those who have benefited, I now have tens of thousands of readers, most who have read the books for free on these websites, or on free Kindle promotions I do from time to time through Facebook. A few people buy the books from Amazon in print or on Kindle, but its hardly enough to make expenses. I do live very frugally, so every little purchase does help a lot. I sure would appreciate it if anybody has contacts with major publishing houses, because if I could find a major publisher for any of these books, I could reach even more people than I am now and make a little more money to live on. I do realize that self-publishing and making the books free is going to make that a tall order, but benefiting others must come first.
